Special training: On request we can offer you individual training on specific questions and/or related to a selected monument (on-site training).
For exemple, we offer training days on the following topics:
- observations and interpretations of the state of conservation of façades (building materials identification, identification of deterioration patterns and their causes);
- qualitative analysis of salt efflorescences (microscopic observations of the crystallized salts dispersed in oil + microchemical tests (or spot tests) + FTIR);
- qualitative analysis of historic mortars (microscopic observations of binders and aggregates dispersed in oil + microchemical tests (or spot tests) + FTIR);
- qualitative analysis of inorganic pigments (microscopic observations of the pigments dispersed in oil + microchemical tests (or spot tests) + FTIR).
